About Me

I am a male born in the year 1987.We are 8 children,5 girls and 3 boys.I am a high school leaver.I cleared my high school in 2007.We depend on farming and rental houses as our source of income. We started experiencing financial challenges when my father died in the year 2014.We stay In an area in Nakuru county, Njoro sub county where farming is very good.My hobby is farming both livestock and crop farming.I started agribusiness 2 years where I started rearing 4chickens.I now have 120 chickens

My Business

My business deals mainly with farming.I have greenhouse where I grow different crops. The crops include spinach and tomatoes. The business is highly profitable because in my area I am the only person with a greenhouse growing tomatoes. My customers are mainly schools and hotels which give me tenders in kilos. In a week,I sell about 100kgs of tomatoes at ksh80 per kg which equivalences to ksh40000 per month(about $400).I also sell spinach on weekly basis.I sell 7sacks of 90kg per of spinach. Each sack earns me about ksh1000(about $10).This gives me ksh7000 every week($70).In a month I get approximately Ksh28000.(about $280).I use the profit to pay school fees for my siblings and for maintaining the farm.
