About Me

My name is Minneh Muthoni. I am a single mother of two, a boy and a girl. I am a business woman dealing with furnitures and with general house hold merchandise.

I started my small business with funds borrowed from a women group I belong to. I have also benefited from loan issued by the Kenya Government. I have a good history of loan repayment; I currently do not have any other loan either with my bank or with my women group.

I am a very responsible person and I hope to grow my business very much and offer employment to other people in future.

My Business

I deal with furnitures and with general house hold merchandise. I sell these because these are things needed on a day to day activities especially by women who form a bigger percent of my clientele base. I choose this business because i had experience in sourcing and selling them having previous been employed by a multi-national firm dealing with imported furnitures. I use the profit i make to provide for my family and to save some cash for a rainy day.

Loan Proposal

I plan to buy more furniture for my business and also use some of the cash to transport already ordered furniture to my clients.

Income Source

I am able to work comfortably since the government has lifted the covid-19 restrictions they had put in place. Normal working hours have also resumed.

With the Corona Pandemics which has affected most businesses, mine is thriving since I am actively advertising on social platforms and also doing more fliers and bronchures. My earnings have gone high by five thousand shillings the past week.
