My name is rosemary, I grew up in upcountry Nyeri, After high school i got a job in a friend 's salon and while working i developed passion for a salon and was trained and years later i opened my own salon with support from my employer .Life is not bad,and am looking forward for a better future with Zidisha, During my free time i love watching gospel songs
My business deals with anything that handle beauty..the main challenge is competition among other fellow hair dressers brought about by the level of stocking and service delivery. In future i see myself opening many more beauty parlours around the the city and starting a beauty college especially to empower young girls and women in the slums to equip themselves with live skills for their future. My customers are mostly slum residents who make their hair. I get a lot of customers on a daily basis and i have 2 girls i have trained who work on commissions and some of them bring their clients here and after the clients is served they pay me a part of the fee for hair do.
I will enlarge my business and also will add some products.the loan will help my customer because of the new products and also will bring more customers. My family will benefit in the income of the money i get in job after my job grows and will help in paying school fees for my child
