About Me

My is Franklin married with one child am hard working and determined Kenyan.I have a business that is located at Kaptembwa
Majority of our customers are the residents of the area
The main line of business is suppliers of small selected items like sweets, polythenes etc , photocopy and mpesa
Kamptembwa area is a semi slum and has more the 10,000 residence. I have diversified in my business to ensure that there is continuous profitability.
The main challenge of the business is limited lack of funds and we plough back most of the business profit to ensure business growth. The future plans of the business is to become a small wholesale and include more products than what we are currently having.

My Business

My business is currently located at Kaptembwa area in nakuru town
The main business is photocopy, Mpesa and supplies of sweets and polythene.
On average the business makes 1500 per day which translate to around 40,000 per month
MONTHLY EXPENSES
stocks 15,000
rent 3,000
electricity 1,500
salary and wages 9,500
TOTAL EXPENSES 29,000
TOTAL INCOME 21,000
TAX 1500
This shows monthly business accounts and I believe that if I can have more capital business revenues can increase. The business faces competition from other business hence we need to diversify our products and that is why I need some funding so that I can add stock for my business.

Loan Proposal

Thanks Zindisha team for the good work you are doing. Outside my business of photocopy i have started a small Mitumba business (Second hand clothes) that supplement the income from the photo copy.
The business is doing very well and we have daily sales of $ 10 per day the profit is around $4 per day. The business is picking up and mostly we deal with children jackets. Kaptembwa being a semi slum the market is ready.
I have applied for a loan of $68 to buy bale of Mitumba that cost$13. I will finance the balance from my personal savings.
We are experiencing very cold seasons in Kenya hence i expect more sales from the business. Also it is festive season and business is usually good.
If granted the loan i expect to increase daily sales from current $ 10 to $ 20. This translate to more than $200 per month
