About Me
I grew up in Nakuru county in rift valley province, Dundori region in a family of fifteen. It's a place that is densely populated thus resources have been stretched, crime is rampant. We practice farming as source of living because it rains though on a small scale. Growing up in a family of fifteen wasn't an easy thing since our parents really struggled to take us to school, food was another big challenge because they had no formal job due to their low education to secure job in both public and private sector thus life was really tough indeed. I managed to get a scholarship through church organization where I schooled till fourth form from there I came to the city where I started doing some casual jobs three years down the line I managed to save a little cash where I enrolled for part time class on electronic repairs.
My Business
I sell and repair electronic device mostly mobile phones and sell airtime.
I started doing the business in the year 2010 in September.
The reason I began the business, its because I wanted to meet my needs for my family since I had just been retrenched from the firm I was working after poor run of management. Starting a communications business was my only option because I had the skills to do repairs.
My biggest challenge has been funds to boost my stock and modern tools to enable me do repairs since technology is changing day by day,my clients are growing but I have little stock to maintain them and tools to attend to their services on time.
My customers are low, middle and high class clients who some happen to be my friend, road passers and neighbors.....some I get them via social media too.
My goal is to establish my business and open more branches in town and create jobs for others too since this business is viable.
Loan Proposal
I am going to buy spare parts and tools at $ 230. With these, I will have spare parts to attend to the needs of my clients first, and tools to enable me do repairs this will enable to work faster to various needs of my clients timely thus more profit and revenue urgently unlike now where am struggling to buy spare parts and lack of modern tools to help work faster.
My business will grow, will be able to maintain my clients both existing ones and new ones because I will be serving them on time
My living standard will improve will be able to meet my needs and for my family and provide for them fully
