Am a married man with two children, both of my children are already in school.I live in Nakuru town machine centre located seven kilometers from Nakuru town. I have attended secondary school and later joined Nairobi polytechnic where I pursued courses in welding and fabrication. Am a catholic believer, I attend st. Jude situated in our neighborhood. In our community I engage in youth programmes such as cleaning the environment and tree planting have been operating my business for the last fiver years ,from revenues I have been able to purchase a piece of land near machine. Am very ambitious I want to have a very big business in the area because the area is developing at the moment
I have been operating my business for the last five years, I operate a metal welding business and batteries charge. I make metallic doors, gates windows, grills, and quail cages which are in very high demand. My customers prefer my products rather than my competitors because I sell them at affordable price and I also make and deliver my products at the right time. I chose these type of business because it has been my dream to work in metal industry. Where I have located my business land is been subdivided for people to settle and the construction of new houses, which gives as a big market for our product choose the location because there are no other businesses which gives me competition. I have employed two employees who help me in cutting the metal and welding every month I incur kes 200,000 expense inclusive of labour cost, electricity, buying of materials and other miscellaneous expense. During peak season I get revenue of approximately kes 300,000 with a profit margin of kes 90,000. The cost of loans in financial instition has hindered me more expansion. If I get loan from zidisha I believe I will expand faster
Thank you for allowing me to borrow businesses funds. I will use the funds in addition to my savings from my businesses to buy more materials such as metal bar, soldering bits, irons sheet and others. Where I have located my business many buildings are under construction since its a new settlement scheme. Also I have a big number of customers of quails cages that are highly demanded
