Am a loving wife and Amother of a five year son my Husband is a veterinary Doctor and a dairy farmer, Am a Secretary at the same veterinary but in a diffrent section.
My parents are from kericho town in the rifty valley and am married in the central province of kenya,
I did a secretarial course at kenya institute of management studies , I love my family so much and I would wish to provide everything for them in future,
My husband has alwas been surportive to me He is the one who got me the job after school and he also paid for my course,My son wants to be a politician but my husband wants him to be a farmer.
Travelling is what I love most experiencing diffrent climate and learning diffrent cultulture and languages makes me hapy.
Like I stated am employed as a Secretary earning 12oooksh a month , I find this cash not enough due to my family raising needs.
I want to do dairy farming with my husband and in future I would resign from my job and concentrate with the livestock as my husband continues with is work.
I find dairy keeping a good idea due to demand in milk and meat products, also availability of manure which can further lead to small scall farming,
My husband and I have several cows and goats I would wish to buy a calf and surport him with his dreams.
Currently a liter of milk goes for 45ksh a cow can give 20 ltrs in a day giving a averaage of 900ksh per day this is three times my salary in a say so I find it reasonable to quite my job and concentrate on the farm.
Addition of more cows will lead to increase of milk production and manure for sell and home farming in future.
We target to have a maximum of ten cows due to the size of land ,This profits will be more than enough to educate my son and take care of my families raising needs.
i would like to appreciate your efforts and surport towards my loan God bless you.
if today I raise this amount I will use it to add two calfs and buy milking cylinders for my dairy farm.
a calf currently goes for 90usd after a drop af prices.so I will use 180usd to buy two calfs.
7 usd to buy a milking cylinders.
thank you .
