About Me

I am O'Brian Muimi, a 3rd year campus student at The University of Nairobi Lower Kabete Campus,pursuing a bachelor degree in Commerce and 24 years old.Born and raised in a rural village of kenya a place called Wikililye,kitui kenya. I am born in a family of 5 ,3 sisters and my elder brother. i have schooled in a day primary school, joined a good county school known as St. Charles Lwanga school where i later qualified to join the university as a parallel student in 2011,financing ma education from primary schol to university level has been faced by many challenges,which has forced me to engage in a cyber cafe business in thika town from te savings i made out of my pocket money and also the amount i got from working as a campus lab supervisor since 2012.My hobbies include browsing for new business adventures,meeting new people to share business ideas with them,watching movies and football whenever am free.

My Business

Since I started my business its grown due to the quality service I offer my clients and the cyber cafe is always full,I also offer computer classes to interested people at affordable rates and am also working as a lab supervisor at my campus so making ends meet is not such a big challenge cause I always have enough to sustain my needs and save.My big challenge in business is where customers come and am forced to send them away cause my business premise is full and that's why I need the Zidisha funds so I may add to my savings and buy more computers for my business.My monthly net income from this business is $200. The business has potential even to double this amount if I can invest in more machines and more stock so that my clients can have more computers to work with whenever they visit my cyber cafe.

Ever since I started my business its been growing by the day,this due to the quality service I offer to my clients.My biggest challenge in business is where customers flock in and am forced to send them away cause my place is full,this why I need the funds to buy two more computers,there is a friend who is selling computers at $295 a piece but if you buy more than two pieces you get them at $260 a piece so I need the funding from Zidisha so I may add to my savings and buy the two pieces,this will be such a big boost to my business and I will have managed to add value and maintain my loyal customers.
