I am Edward Mnalai. I had a good childhood that was completed with well planned schooling and a good family that was concern with my success. My schooling started in Menengai primary, later in St Patrick's secondary school, and then attended the Kenya Institute of Business Management for a course in Business Management a course that has really transformed my life.
I have overcome the challenges in life by being prepared psychologically and living in a positive mind kind of a state. I am a spiritual person and this has helped me a great deal in my life. I live in a place where culture is about family being a treasured unit. Each member of the family has to get a piece of the family land where you will be able to settle the family when you become of age, so land is important in my culture. When my kids grow up, I would like them to continue in the transport industry as they will find when l have already established the business for them. I do alot in my free time which includes but not limited to swimming, making new friends and travelling since I am in the transport industry.
l am a businessman in transport industry transporting customers from supermarkets, homes and schools. After I completed college, l saw an opportunity in tuk tuk transport and ventured into it. Many customers like my services because l offer them the best service and l am very faithful to them. l have also given them my numbers so that when they need me, they can contact me at any given time/
l am always strategically placed near supermarket and wholesale markets as most of customers are found here. l normally make between $150 to $200 every month, which l use to take my children to school, maintenance for my tuk tuk, and pay bills.
Dear lenders,
When you offer me a zidisha loan, l am going to buy new tires at a cost of $40. l will also replace worn out seat at a cost of $30 and replace the tented section by buying new tent at a cost of $30. The money that l get from offering transportation services, l will use it to pay school fees for my kids, maintain my tuk tuk, and improve my standard of living due to high cost of living in my location.
Thank you for your assistance and time!!
