About Me

My name is Augustine njobvu I was brought up by a single grandparent due to the lost of my parents at a tender age.

I did my primary education at twashuka basic and later went to munali boys high for secondary level . After completing my grade 12,i was granted a scholarship by an NGO (children international) and i majored in business studies. Unfortunately i dropped out due to lack finance because i was granted a 50% scholarship and i was unable to meet other school expanses .

Oh yeah growing up as an orphan and with a single broke grand parent, I encountered a lot of hardship. After some years of growing up through the same pace of financial unstablebility, I learned to have discipline, patience and positive minded thereafter i see problems as an opportunity for me to up grade to another level of life" change occur only when there is an obstacle".

I was unemployed for for long time which forced me to ventured in grocery store because I used to work with my uncle in a grocery shop which made it easy for me to own one.

My Business

I own a grocery store,I sell all sorts of home use e.g drinks,sugar,meal mill,bread other food stuffs that are used on daily basis. I also provide mobile money services Airtel and mtn mobile money.

These services are on demand because malls are far from where i live therefore my grocery is the people's option And thats the only grocery shop where I also sell traditional food stuffs. Mobile money accounts are the most used money transaction and savings,making the shop to be busy and operating long ours.

when I was about 14 years I use to work with
my uncle in grocery store ,therefore it is easy for me to run it and on other hand am helping my community to buy groceries and foodstuffs without walking a long way due to that I have created loyalty,trust to my costumers.

I use the profits to pay the rent, electricity bills,pay school feels for my niece and nephew,helping out to pay bills at church and largely I use it to expand my business.

Loan Proposal

i plan to use the loan to increase some more grocery orders, since people buy groceries every day some times i run out of stock due to that i thought of increasing my capital so that i can order more groceries for my shop. secondly after saving up some money i want to buy a big fridge for storing food stuffs and beverages, which will also add up to more money. Thirdly i want to invest some more fund in my mobile money services because sometimes my customers buy things via mobile money . I also offer mobile money transaction and withdraw making my shop reliable, depending upon and trust worthy.

Income Source

Due to this global economic crisis,I don't depend on my business only.i have stretched my hand to have another online clothing business to generate some extra income,am also currently working as part employe,apart from my business, all these source of income can help me to repay the loan.all in all since I want to work with zidisha as my financial helper I will work extra hard to repay my debt on time .
