I was born in Kenya, Nakuru county, Bahati constituency. I sat for my Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education in the year 2013. I am the third born in a family of seven with both parents. I got employed by a village my neighbor where he has rared so many chickens, cows, sheep and goats and that's where I got the idea of raring poultry and livestock at my home and and from my savings I began with chickens. Maili Sita is a unique place near Menengai Crater, and as result tourists in and outside Kenya visit the area oftenly. During my free time I do research on animals and I like watching wild animal programmes and movies.
I rare, buy and sell chickens and i also sell eggs. I also have some few goats like the one in the profile picture. I decided to specialize in this type of business because I have the experience from where I am employed. I manage to sell about one hundred eggs per week and i sell each egg at ksh10 at a wholesale price, I have forty chickens and from the sale of eggs i get ksh4000 per month and I sell one cock at ksh1200 and ksh700 per hen. In addition to my salary of USD200 that is ksh18,000 i manage to cater for the monthly cost of USD20 that is ksh2000 including layers mash(chicken's food) to improve their production and their health. I reinvest my profits by buying more chicks and their food to keep the business going and as time goes by I will start investing in another area of Livestock and buy some sheep and goats then some cows.
Hallo my dear lenders, I am going to buy a milking cow, a freshian one, I have already found one and I have uploaded her photo in my comments page and as soon as I get the loan am going to buy it. The price of her is USD200 and I already have USD100 and am kindly requesting for the remaining USD100. The cow will bring a lot of income because I will be selling milk depending on how i will feed her and since she is two months pregnant I will soon raise a calf and soon enough I will expand my business with many domestic animals. Together with my chickens and goats I can make more profits through the sale of their products. Thank you.
