About Me

I am the second born in a family of six children,I attended Ezra Gumbe primary schhol for primary education and sega township for secondary education, however I did not complete secondary education due to lack of fees.
after dropping from school at form three, life became very tough, i was sponsored by a NGO for a vocational training where I trained as a beautician, I then worked for several people as I save for my own business. After two years with $300 saving and $100 loan ,I decided to open my own salon, due to my good quality work, creating a clientele base was easy and that is how my business was born.
I have three year old kid, he fancies planes and says he wants to be a pilot in future. I decided to insure his education so that he is able to achieve his dreams.
I love dancing and singing during my free time, I also love meeting new people and making new friends.

My Business

I provide beauty services, which include hair dressing, massage, manicure and pedicure. The demand for services are high because of the dense population and my quality work.
I choose the beauty industry since I had love it since I was young. I am happy I earn a living and gets job satisfaction.
My typical costs per month are $140 and my monthly revenues are average $320-$400 per month.
I use the money in taking care of my son, buying food for my family ,and paying fees for my sibling. I also save for business improvement.

Loan Proposal

Good morning dear lenders,I am kindly requesting for my first loan so that I can purchase a shaving machine for my saloon ,these is in line with my expansion plan to have barber shop wing in the salon. The shaving machine will cost $75 and would help me utilise my big room well and add to my revenues. I will also employ one person to help me and therefor create employment opportunity for one kenyan. I expect to earn $80 in profits from these new investment per month. Thank you .

Hi Christine, I am hoping you will be able to make even small payments on your loan. You were doing so well for months, and I imagine something bad happened to keep you from paying in time. I wish you the best. Please communicate with your lenders so we know what is happening. Even if you pay back late, as long as you are making progress, then your lenders will have faith in you for future loans.
