About Me

I AM A RESIDENT OF NJOKERIO VILLAGE IN NJORO DISTRICT OF RIFT VALLEY. AM MARRIED WITH THREE KIDS ONE GIRL AND TWO BOYS. THE ELDEST GIRL IS IN STANDARD FOUR, FOLLOWED WITH THE BOY WHO IS IN STANDARD ONE. THE GIRL WHO IS SMALLEST IS ONLY FOURTEEN MONTHS OLD. I HAVE BEEN FARMING FOR THE LAST SIX YEARS. I EARN MY LIVING BY GROWING FOOD CROPS AND SELLING THEM TO THE MARKET. I MAJOR IN POTATOES AND PEAS. THE AREA IS AGRICULTURARLY CONDUCIVE FOR AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION. THE REASON WHY I STARTED FARMING IS THAT I FOUND OUT THAT THERE WAS A READY MARKET FOR FRESH FOOD PRODUCTS IN THE NEARBY EGERTON UNIVESITY AND NAKURU TOWN. THE STUDENT POPULATION IS LARGE AND MOST OF THEM ARE NOT BOARDERS. I HAVE A TWO AND A HALF ACRE FARM AND HIRE LAND FOR FARMING IN THE EXPANSIVE MAU AREA WHICH BORDERS US TO THE EAST.

My Business

AS I HAVE STATED, I AM A FARMER DEALING WITH FOOD CROPS. I GET INCOME BY GROWING AND SELLING POTATOES AND PEAS. I MOSTLY WORK WORK IN MY FARM BUT WHEN THE WEATHER PATTERN AND RAIN IS FAVORABLE, I HIRE SHAMBAS TO GROW CROPS FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR AND SOMETIMES RENEW LEASE IF THE WEATHER PATTERN IS GOOD FOR BUSINESS. THE BUSINESS IS PROFITABLE BECAUSE THERE IS A READY MARKET AT THE NEARBY EGERTON UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY AND THE GREATER NAKURU TOWN. I BUY POTATO SEEDLINGS FROM THE FARM AT A COST OF 1,500/= PER SACK AND 2,300/= PER 50KG SACK. ON A GOOD HERVEST AM ABLE TO PRODUCE FORTY SACKS OF POTATOES PER ACRE AND SELL AT 3,000/= PER BAG AND HERVEST THIRTY FIVE BAGS OF PEAS WHICH I SELL AT 1,000/= PER BAG AT THE FARM GATE. I HIRE LAND AT 5,000/= PER ACRE, FERTILIZERS AND PESTICIDES.. I EARN AROUND THIRTEEN THOUSAND SHILLINGS PER MONTH ON A GOOD HARVEST AND USE THE MONEY FOR FOOD, CLOTHING AND EDUCATION FOR MY KIDS. GIVEN THE LOAN FROM YOUR ORGANIZATION, I WILL BE ABLE TO BUY MORE FARM INPUTS INORDER TO MAXIMIZE PRODUCTION THUS MORE PROFITS.

Loan Proposal

As I had stated I deal with with farming.I will buy more farm inputs as we are moving to the rain season I will really appreciate if you will fund me with the loan because I will ensure that I have bought those farm inputs like maize seedlings, beans seedlings, carrot and some sweat potatoes.I will buy herbicides to kill pest sides in the farm to ensure the farm is ready for cultivation.I will appreciate so much and that so much

    Good morning, Fredrick
Unfortunately, you have not made any of your scheduled repayments. I, and your other lenders, trust you to be an honest man, and will make your payments very soon. I am sure you realise that, without repayment of this loan, you will not be able to get any other loans in future to help your business.
