My name is Pokuaa Kyere Linda, I am the third born in my family. My mum is a small scale farmer while my dad is a retired primary school teacher i went to Freeman primary school ,and then proceeded to Sunyani secondary school where i completed my secondary school education.
My dad having retired can not afford to pay my college fees, and since i can not get any job ,I have decide to do agriculture to save for my education. Things look tough but manageable, currently i have 1/2 acre land with healthy tomatoes. I am looking forward to lucrative revenues this second season.
i am social and outgoing and so i Like MEETING new people and making new friends
I do tomato farming and so the major products that i provide for the markets is tomatoes. I farm my tomatoes in open field and I always minimize the use of pesticide in my farm. And here we are in the drying season and there is no water in the soil that is why I am pleading with with you to help me to get irrigation water pump machine for my farm because my first loan couldn't buy it.
The demand for tomatoes has always been high since most farmers in my area fear tomato farming saying it has a lot of work. there is a lot of opportunity as many people get there supplies several kilometers away from my village.
I choose this business because it was the most profitable business ,and I was near source of water. the soils also lack blight and so it supports this crop.
I spend $201 on labour and manure . my average revenues are $360 per month.I use my revenues by supporting my family given that my dad is retired and my mum has no stable source of income and saving for my university fees and also help other people to get work to do.
My dear lenders am highly grateful for your support for my first loan. I was able to use the loan you gave me wisely and for that matter have paid back successfully. I am counting on you for my second loan which is going to be use to purchase of irrigation water pump machine for my tomatoes farm. Here in my country we are in dry season and the rain too has stopped and the tomatoes too need water. I am kindly requesting you support me buy this machine for my farm to produce more products. I am going to use $170 to buy the irrigation machine and the remaining $31 to more seeds to be added to my farm . I will be very grateful for your support, Thank you in advance.
