About Me

I'm a kid at heart. That is why after completing my secondary school education ,I started working as an un-trained teacher until I could afford my college fees.I now have a diploma in early childhood education and hopes to enroll for a bachelors degree in the near future.
I'm the sixth born in a family of six sisters and four brothers.
I have always wanted to have my own school and that is why after saving for 10 years and getting space I had to start my school business. My school is four years old .

My Business

I have always been passionate about children and that is why I chose teaching. My school opening schedule was a little affected by unfinished constructions. This made me lose out on a number of pupils on my list of admission. To meet my financial obligations without the expected income,I had to devise a new income stream and that is how I decided to start admission for non-school age children whose mothers are working .
There are quite a number of industries in my neighborhood. Many women working here cannot afford house girls and are always on the look out for day care centers.
My advantage is that I already have the infrastructure of a school thus more credible than competitors .On realizing the potential of the new income stream I hired a middle aged mother to take care of the children as I focus on the older kids in the school.
Unfortunately,my school being a start-up I do not have enough cash at hand to buy enough furniture and equipment conducive for the new early age kids.Currently,I want to add on low plastic chairs and continue raising money for better equipment. Many financial institutions can not finance me on the basis of potential and that is why I'm appealing on Zidisha lenders to lend me a hand in making my dream come true.
Currently I have 70 older kids and 8 under 3 years kids who bring an income as follows.

Fees per month 1700*70kids=119000
Day care fees per month 1000*8=8000

Total income =127000

Expenses
Rent 50000
Salaries 40000
Stationery 4000
My living expenses 10000
Profit [reinvested currently] 5000
I believe that with the new income stream,I will make a projected monthly profit of 50000 And now that constructions are complete,I also expect an increase in my student numbers.

Loan Proposal

My current population of students raising from 30 to 70 is demanding for more social facilities and learning materials.having used all the saving i had and my monthly rent having doubled it has not been possible to meet this demand because my monthly profit is not enough because my younger siblings who is schooling is under my care thus making me not to be able to meet this needs.in kenya April is a holiday and the school will be re-opening in may and because am advertising my school i believe the population will increase anf it will be hard for me to manage the new population without more books and desks that way am appealing to wellwishers to lend me some money

I'm really sorry for the delay in repayments. It has been quite a tough period for my start-up with some parents paying late and a few withdrawing after accumulating arrears but God is good things are looking up now. Please accept my apologies and may God abundantly reward your generosity.
