About Me

My name is florence njeri ngugi .i am a kenyan citizen and a mother ofnine children .my home place is mugaa nakuru .my area is good for growing maize ,beans ,cassava,tomatoes,onions ,oranges etc. the elder son is 42 yrs. ilike farming and doing business.my favourite business isbuying and selling of cereals such as maize and beans .i am in good health ,hardwoking and work on my own risks .i also work as a mid-wife within my village .

My Business

My business is located at my village centre about 45km from nakuru town.
My business is that l do sell cereals such as maize, beans etc,.
I get my goods from local farmers around my area. There are some of the challenges that faces my business such as climate changes especially when the weather is cloudy.The drying of maize and beans is poor and so the market for my goods are limited. The buying price of maize per kg bag is Ksh 1,800 while the selling price is Ksh 2,100 making a profit of Ksh 300/= per 90kgs bag. For the beans the buying price is Ksh 2,700 while the selling prize is Ksh 3,200 making a profit of Ksh 500 per 90 kg bag.
In a week l bought 15-20 bags of maize. While for beans l bag 10-15 bags
