About Me

My name is Lucas Ouma Aluoch. I was born on 10th June 1983 in Siaya County Alego Komenya Rabar near Nyaluanga School. I am the last born in our family of five children. I lost my father when I was still a little boy and grew up under the care of my mother who really worked hard to feed us and also take us to school. Being a house in area where land is scarce and crops never do very well, we struggled in life finally dropping out of school in class seven before I even sat for my exam.

I decided to come to Eldoret where I managed to learn tailoring from a friend of mine. After sometime, I decided to start my own work because what I was being paid was too little that could not sustain me, my mother as I was also now thinking about getting married.

Later own I got married to my wife Grace and we have one child. I work in Eldoret town and also serve as the Pastor of Glad Tidings Church in Kamukunji which I founded in the year 2013.

When I am free, I like reading my Bible and Preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.

My Business

My business is tailoring and dress making. I do this and have realized that the demand is high because Eldoret as a town is growing very fast in population because of the may learning institutions in and around it.

After I dropped out of school, I was looking for something that I could do so as to earn a living . I had no money to pay to enable do any course but this friend was willing to train me for free.
I use mainly materials and this can give good profit if they are bought in bulk. At the moment I have materials worth about Kshs. 10,000 . From this, I make profit of around Kshs. 3,000 per week. This helps to pay my rent, feed my family and plough back some amount to improve my business.

Loan Proposal

If given this loan amount then I will buy 4 rolls of new clothes materials at 200 US Dollars.
Thread for sewing the material at a cost of 20 US Dollars .
This will benefit my customers in that they will get all what they want from me.And I will get more profit from my customers who will come to my shop.
If this plan is implemented then I expect an increase of 50% in this business of mine.
Thanks in advance for considering me again for the second time.
God bless you.
