ABOUT ME.
My childhood education began in a remote village in Bomet county, Ndanai division.I started schooling when I was five years.
During my primary school life I had to trek for more than five kilometers since the schools were far apart. my parents were peasant farmers and had to rely only on little land we had and we were able to adapt to that environment of becoming hardworking person.I came to start my business when I dropped out of college for lack of school fees. since I had a lot of passion in music I decided to engage in music industry. As I had gained a lot of interest from my mentors and musicians who dominate my Chepalungu constituency in Bomet county.Our land is of red volcanic origin and it favors mostly tea and dairy farming.The kalenjin people where I belong are lovely living together in peace with other tribes enjoying their traditional milk"Mursik". The only only challenge we had is to sensitize most of my youths and all people to adapt change and forget their past customs and culture which allow circumcision for girls( FGM, Female Genital Mutilation) which make young girls abandon school at tender age and get married to young men.
Our children dream of succeeding in school and be professional leaders ready to embrace positive change and lead this country to another level free from corruption and tribalism.During my free time I like sensitizing the public especially youths, young girls and boys to embrace change and leave past cultural barbaric acts like circumcision.playing keyboard, composing songs,poems, reading and motivating the talented persons.

ABOUT MY BUSINESS
My goods are buying and selling of empty compact disks,my recorded music in CD,DVD,VCD and memory cards. I do also provide entertainment services at various clubs within Nairobi and its environs. I do also got invites to weddings,fundraising and other important public functions.
Due to high rate of technology many people have opted to current use of high technology music system, entertainment and high rate of literacy in youths.Use of high technology in communication for example mobile phones.Inside my business I do download music to mobile phones,laptops,and to memory cards to most youths especially those in matatus(public vehicles),motorbikes and clubs.
The main reasons why i choose into this business is
1.My talent and passion in music
2.High demand within my fellow youths

My cost include rent,buying of empty CDs,DVD,VCD together with the cost of paying collaborating performers.
1.10 bundle Empty compact disks , each with 50 copies =5000 Ksh. approximately 50 Us dollars.
Rent,water and electricity Ksh.4000 approximately 40 US Dollars.
Per week I usually get not less than Ksh.15,000( 150 US Dollars) from performance and selling of my recorded music together with downloads. this increased as a result of my first loan from Zidisha.I use my profit in paying rent,and in upgrading my business and also not forgetting about my brother's son who I adopted after the demise of his mother.

Loan Proposal

My second loan from Zidisha will help me acquire the latest personal computer equipped with all software program mes. This will help me to download local and international music for my clients which they are still high demand. Secondly I will make sure also I buy one printer for printing of compact disk covers for my own recorded music and Posters for music promotion.

Cost of Personal computer( Dell company) Ksh.20,500 approximately 205 US dollars.
HB 3 in 1 Printer Ksh. 6500 approximately 65 US Dollars.
This will benefit me a lot because the quality of my products and service will increase hence increase demand and as result income and profit as well. My community will be informed and sensitized easily because I will reach them through music.Other disadvantage children together with my adopted son will got basic necessities including education. I hope my profit will increase up to 85 % and my income will be approximately 25,000 Kenya shillings 250 US Dollars per week.
