About Me

I am Patrick Opar Achola.I come from homabay county, homabay distrct,Rangwe Division,Kochia East location,Korayo sub location Kochia village.I started my primary education at Lwaho primary school where i took ten years and did my final exams in the year 1985.I then joined Homabay secondary school where I again took four years and did my final exams in the year 1989.I then took sometimes out before joining college due to lack of money to join college.I later joined Nairobi University in the year 2000 for degree in Early childhood Education and school management and graduated in the year 2004.Am a teacher by profession and am currently running a school in Kayole Nairobi.I started this business to enable me help the children access education and to sustain myself and my family.Have purchase land for school, books and desks. My hobby is reading novels.

My Business

Am requesting this loan to help me expand my school feeding programme that I offer to my pupil's.I will pay this loan back with money collected from pupils for lunch because we collect USD1 per child per day from 113 pupils. Our customers who are our good pupils prefer our hot, clean and affordable served lunch compared to the nearby canteens which very expensive and are meant for members of the community. My business is profitable because we have regular customers. My business faces challenge of lack of enough money to buy food stuff like rice, beans and maize flour in bulk which is affordable compared to small quantity. My monthly income is a round USD1740 and my monthly expenses is a round USD950.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to buy the following items: rice, beans, maize and cooking oil. When all these are bought I will be capable to provide lunch to around 120 pupils, this will lead to additional monthly income of USD44 as profit made from the feeding programme. I promise to pay my loan back on time then I did with my first loan.I had some business challenges but are now sorted out.

Is this correct: "we collect USD10 per child per day from 113 pupils" ? This sounds like a lot. Also doesn't match with your monthly income.

Hi! lenders am sorry for my delay in payments, the reason was this, holiday tuition was banned by the government so there was no collection of money at all.we have resume classes now and I commit to clear all my due balance debt by this month. Thanks
