My names are Luwali Katana Jefwa, born in Bamba an arid and semi arid land in the far east of Kenya, Brought up from a poor family that only relied In peasant farming for livehood. Born in a family of eight, five girls and three boys. My advantage to stape in aclass room came because I was the lastborn, this is because being a family of eight only the last two kids went to school and that was me the last born and an elder brother. The finance of we two who went to school came from our elder sister who ran away home escaping early marriage and found her self working as a house girl in Mombasa. She cattered for what our own father could not do, when we were in class seven our father passed on, so we were now left with mother, the effort of our maid sister took us to high school and after that to college , she is among the women to consider when it comes to ideas even though she never staped in a class room. That was how I overcomed the childhood hardship.
I was first working as casual on different companies, saved little by little till I came up with a good capital of three hundred thousand, I then divided to buy a tax/ tuktuk that's a three passenger tax to start my business. Since then I have been trying very hard to work on my goals coz am aiming on owning a fleet of cars other than Tuktuk but my business is still very small since I have only one tax . The idea of the tax came after having suched for a permanent job for a very long time without succeeding.
am asking for the USD 45 to buy seedlings for tomatoes and brengleals for my little green farm
this would assist my family to cut cost on buying vegetables for use at home, it would also increase my revenues since some would be sold to the locals as a way of giving back to the community as well.
