Thank you for giving this wonderful opportunity to me to introduce myself to you. I am Richmond Agyei. We are five members in my family including me. I am native to Odumasi,. Currently, I am pursuing B.A. in Economics at the University of Capecoast distance learning , and I will be entering into final year of my graduation studies in the next couple of months. Ever since, I started studying Economics in my school days. I realized, I enjoy analyzing things connected to the society, and the Mother Nature. Since my childhood days, I have witnessed my family focusing upon correct utilization of house hold items, and guiding us towards understanding the whites, and blacks of the possible outcomes. I believe, this somehow further boosted my interest towards Economics as a career option.
Currently, I am working as a barber and schooling. I preparing to get married soon and start a family life.
My long term goal is by gaining work experience of 07-08 years in the field of Economics. I wish to work on a senior position, contributing to the betterment of my work place and the society.
I am a self-motivated, and a disciplined soul. I am always keen to up-skill myself by learning new things whenever I get a chance.
I work as a barber in my community where I lived. J shave both the young, middle age and the older. I have a wide customer base because of the good working ethics I have shown over the years. I charge Ghc 5 for children, and Ghc Ghc10 for Adults. On a normal day I am able to serve about 15 to 30 clients which generates profit. It's really a good business to invest in.
As a barber I work with these kinds of items Shampoo, blades, combs. Getting this loan will help me buy some of these items in box so it can used to serve my customers for a longer period of time. Taking this loan is really going to make my work smooth and customers would enjoy my services. I would then be making profits exceeding the limit I used to gain daily and save some for reinvestment.
I shave people on daily basis and save some. I would be paying from the little savings I have been saving on weekly so as to prevent default of payment as required by Zidisha agreement.
