About Me

Hello, my name is Joan I have a degree in international relations and diplomacy but business is my passion. my brand is called JoHeartYarns and I produce handmade crochet swimwear and outfits. I save my profits out of the business to enable me expand my business. I'm 25.years and passionate about community development.. currently I'm training women on economic empowerment using their talents. my business started as a hobby, which turned into business. I have had challenges sometimes in business, but the best part is my passion and desire to build an empire for my business motivates me. I'm happy to be on zidisha , I'm sure it's the best platform for me to grow

My Business

my business focuses on producing handmade swimwear using yarns and hooks of different varieties. I started it in 2015 and I sell my products online.. I generate around 40 thousand Kenya shillings .I need to expand my production process by getting more labor and opening a workshop

Loan Proposal

As a creative entrepreneur who deals with handmade goods, it's indeed hard to scale up the business faster without enough labor. I have decided to outsource labor to help me in the production process. The more the labor the more the outcome. Currently my loan limit is only 18 dollars I'm working hard to increase my loan limit to enable me achieve my goals. However I believe the 18 dollars will be useful to buy like 3 crochet tops from other producers at 5 dollars each. I'll resale the tops at 10 dollars each hence a profit of 15 dollars.
