About Me

My name is Odame Adu. I'm 44 years old. I'm married with five kids. I come from kukuom in the Asunafo south district of Ghana. Currently, I am a farmer and very proud of my job. My childhood was very unpleasant experience with which I am doing all what is humanly possible not to let my children pass through that kind of life. I lost my parents at the age of six. Since then I took care of my self. Though I had dreamt of becoming a doctor infuture, this couldn't happened. I am currently a rice farmer. To me, business is good since I could put food on the table for my wife and kids at the end of the day.

My Business

I started this business soon after I had completed my primary education through the help of my grand mother. Since then, rice farming as been the major source of income for me and several others whom I employed to work in my farm. I want to expand my business by cultivating more acres of land for commercial purposes. I need a lot of workers to help in this purpose. Hence, the need for a zidisha loan.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan from zidisha to buy new fertilizer and other chemical to spray my rice farm. This will help increase the number of bags I could have at the end of the season. Local rice is in high demand in the country currently. Repaying Indiana loan will be very simple and fast for me.
One bag of fertilizer cost $10

In the southern part of the Country, most of the farm lands supports rice plantation. In view of this, many farmers, including me chose to cultivate rice in this areas. Producing rice in commercial quantities such as mine demands the cultivation of large areas of land and fertilizer as well as man power to achieve is very purpose. Thanks to zidisha and lenders so much.God bless them all.
