About Me

I am a B.Ed (Arts) English and Literature graduate from The University of Nairobi, and a volunteer (missionary) teacher in Garissa, a town in Southern Eastern parts of the former North Eastern Province. I teach English and Literaturer, as a volunteer teacher earning a small stipend as upkeep. To support my work, my young family on and myself, I have tried my hand in do small businesses such as baking, fruit parlour, and motor cycle taxis (bodaboda. However, due to the fragile nature of security in the region, businesses went down. I was forced to close shop after shop.

I love writing. I have actully written as a freelancer for some time now. I have written for different online writing companies such as researchwritingcenter.com, UpWork, and iwriter.com. I now want to take onlinepreneurship a notch higher. I have two blogs, newsarsenal.com and writinghelppro.com. They have have been pulled offline since i have not paid up the hosting fees for some time. Am looking forward to revive them and monetize them.

I am self hosting my blog with hostgator. Initial cost for shared hosting is $3.95 per month. I should be able to buy an entire years package for US $ 48. This is the purpose of the loan.

Online writing provide infinite opportunities. People are looking for creative, factual and reliable information. They leverage on the power of social media for their information needs. Loan Proposal

When i get the loan i ill use i as follows
1. I will use Kshs 3,800 to purchase an electric cake mixer. This will help me to make very high quality Castella Cake which are in demand, and has high returns.
2. I will use Ksh 500 to purchase plastic baskets for which i will use to transport my cakes with. I currently use paper cartons, which are sometimes messy, and unhygienic since they cannot be cleaned.
Purchasing this equipment is the first step in expanding my business. This loan will help me increase the volume of cakes and improve the quality of cakes i bake.
