IM SIMIYU DANIEL WANJALA,BORN IN A FAMILY OF FOUR BOYS AND FOUR GIRLS.MY PARENTS ARE PEASANT FARMERS.THEY COULD ONLY AFFORD TO TAKE US IN NEARBY PUBLIC PRIMARY SCHOOLS,STILL WITH DIFFICULTY.WHILE AT SCHOOL,I ADMIRED THE LIFESTYLE OF MY TEACHERS,AND I HAD A DREAM OF BEING LIKE THEM,SO I VOWED TO WORK VERY HARD,DESPITE THE LIMITATIONS.AT KCPE,I MANAGED TO SCORE 355/500 MARKS.MY GOOD MARKS EARNED ME A POSITION OF STUDYING AT CHESAMISI BOYS,A GOOD PROVINCIAL SCHOOL,BUT ITS SOMETHING THAT NEVER HAPPENED.MY PARENTS COULD ONLY AFFORD TO TAKE ME TO A NEARBY MIXED DAY SCHOOL,WHERE STILL PAYING SH14,000 PER YEAR WAS NOT A WALK IN THE PARK.I THANK GOD FOR HELPING ME WIN MY PRINCIPAL'S FAVOUR.HE HELPED ME DO MY KCSE EVEN WITH A FEE BALANCE OF SH11,000.I MANAGED GRADE B+ OF 70 POINTS,WHICH EARNED ME GOVERNMENT SPONSORSHIP TO STUDY A DEGREE IN EDUCATION SCIENCE AT UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI.WITH THE HELB LOAN I USED TO RECEIVE,I STARTED FARMING HORTICULTURAL CROPS AND CEREALS,A BUSINESS VENTURE WHICH IS THRIVING.CURRENTLY IM EMPLOYED BY THE GOVERNMENT ON PERMANENT AND PENSIONABLE TERMS AS A TEACHER,A DREAM COME THROUGH.
MY CONSTANT AND FREQUENT INCOME COMES FROM MY WORK AS A TEACHER.IM EMPLOYED ON PERMANENT AND PENSIONABLE TERMS.I TEACH AT MWOROGA SECONDARY SCHOOL.I ALSO DO FARMING,WHERE I PLANT CROPS LIKE MAIZE,BEANS,KALES,SPINACH,GREEN GRAMS AND OTHER CEREALS ALTERNATIVELY.THEY GIVE ME SOME GOOD INCOME,ESPECIALLY WHEN THE MARKET IS AT ITS PEAK.I HAVE ALSO BEGUN A POULTRY BUSINESS
Hi dear lenders,I would like to place a proposal for the CAN fertiliser purchase of my millet crop.its the same crop that you enabled me purchase Urea fertiliser for top dressing at early stages of growth.I need 75kg of CAN fertiliser.this will help the already healthy crop to bear big and good quality bunches of millet.when I leave the crop in that state to maturity, the crop will be healthy and strong due to the applied Urea fertiliser, but it will lack a boost for quality and heavy millet yields.the millet I'm targeting to harvest in august, approximately 300kg,where 1kg goes at a market price of 1dollar,will greatly rise my financial stability.besides personal benefits, the nation will benefit at large, especially from the recent announcement by the government of Kenya that millers should start blending maize, millet, soghurm and cassava for porridge and ugali(cruel) flour to avoid over reliance on poorly performing maize as a stable food, which resulted to hunger as a national disaster.also, hoteliars prefer millet porridge and I have a good catch, thus a healthy nation.75kg of CAN fertiliser goes 55dollars.15dollars will be needed for weeding, totalling 70dollars.I'm greatful for your consideration,I am because you are.God bless.
