About Me

my name is Brian maseki and a Kenyan citizen.I am the third born in a family of four.I was born in kitui county where I went through my primary school education.later I went to Maseno school in kisumu for my secondary school education and later joined Technical University Of Mombasa where I took a Diploma course in Electrical Power Engineering.
Am not yet permanently employed because I tend to love business and technical hustles more than office jobs
I started a small scale business in 2012 ,while still in university, whereby I sold memory cards and flashdisks at the institution. never had a shop but I dropped my contacts on every notice board around the institution premises.whenever someone needed any of my goods he/she would contact me.this helped me a lot to cope with life and enabled me to afford all the necessities by myself. have been doing this since then. But now I double it with my electrical skills.
I would like my children to grow up knowing and having business skills that would make them succeed in life.
I love electronics and I spend most of my passtime trying to repair house appliances.

My Business

I sell memory cards and flashdisks just in small scale, because I do it as part time.
always keeping a stock of at least 30memory cards and 20 flashdisks all the time.each memory card can earn me a profit of 150 KES-250 KES
And a flash disk 200KES-300KES
I do electrical installations and air conditioning as my profession.I have a diploma in electrical power engineering.
so my source of income mainly comes from the services I deliver in electrical installations.
I save the profits as I intend to start an electrical and electronic shop.and also use it for home improvements
After PLC Course I got employed in tissue manufacturing company as a machine operater, which has greatly added to my income.

Loan Proposal

I will use the money to buy tissue papers at x-factory price(I.e ksh.540 per bale)and sell it at ksh.620, that translates to ksh.80 per bale, in a good day when the business picks one can sell up to 600 bales a day.

The loan I borrowed on school fees for PLC course has really helped me as I finished the course and got employed, and it is with its benefits that I would like to pay a higher installment so that I can finish my loan early and venture into another business

Good luck with it. Have you checked the rules on early repayment? It might seem strange, but if you repay too much too early, it might limit any loan increase you would otherwise be able to get. See here for details: sites.google.com/a/zidisha....
