Edna lusega is my birth name most of my customers call me "mama maji " This means a woman of water, They call me this name because am a water vendor in my community, My children are young i have to fetch for them to sustain their needs and provide a happy life.

My Business

I noticed a problem with water in my are and decided to venture into selling water, I buy water from lorries which brings water from a far distance i put them in gallons and sell within my community at a small profit.

I started with few gallons now i have 200 gallons of 20 liters and 50 gallons of 80 litters.
I make a profit of 10 Kenya shillings per gallon and on a good business day i sell up-to 150 gallons making a profit of 1,500 Kenya shillings a day.
I use this money for family needs and clothing after reinvesting in the business.

Granted 15 us dollars after deductions i will use the money to top my capital and buy water for sell.
A lorry water tank cost 54 us dollars, i will make the loan 54 us dollars and buy water after selling i will use the daily income to repay the loan and boost my business.
