About Me

I am Grace Wanjiku Muita.I am a wife to Mr.Gerald Kireri and a mother
of 2 children a boy and a girl and they normally attend school at
Githunguri Academy for their primary education in class 4 and 1 respectively.I am from Githunguri
village,Kiambu county,Kenya,East-Africa.I am a God fearing
mother,honest,obedient and a trustworthy business woman.My hobbies
includes traveling making new friends, singing and swimming. My current
business is dairy farming.

My Business

I am Grace Wanjiku Muita.I do dairy farming as a means of my income.I practice my farming in Githunguri village,Kiambu.
Dairy farming consisting of rearing livestock for a profit through milk.Like my case,i have one mature dairy cow which i rely it through it's milk.In a day i do get 35-45 liters of milk.I resell it at the Githunguri Dairies limited at a price of 40 per liter, making to a total of between kshs.1,400-kshs.1,800 everyday. From the sales,i do get into some expenses which includes:
(a)buying dairy meal 20 kgs @ kshs.400.
(b)Dry hay 3 bouquets @ kshs.360.
(c)Milking salve 100 ml@ kshs.300.
After all the expenses i am left with an average of kshs.400 per day.In a weekly accumulation i get an average profit of kshs.3,000.The profit caters for my family living standards to improve as well as i do save 25% of the total profit to buy another freshian cow in future.
Now that i have good people from the zidisha Microfinance Organization,I am planning to add some of my profit i have and the initial loan that Zidisha will be granting me so that i can be able to buy one more improved freshian dairy cow from K.A.R.I(Kenya Agricultural Research Institute). This will improve my daily milk supply as well as add my weekly net revenue higher. It is my kind request to the Zidisha Microfinance to consider my dairy farming business and boost me to another level. Thanks in advance as you fund my loan.

Loan Proposal

I am really happy to see that Zidisha Microfinance boosting my dairy project.I am planning to add one more freshian cow to supplement my milk supply. The demand is higher than ever since my customers are the Githunguri Dairies Limited.Currently there is an acute shortage of milk in the Country due to the dry season ,making the demand of fresh milk to triple than ever before.I have a relying and potential customers who buys all my produce at a good price compared to other brokers in the location.
Now that you will be financing my project,i am planning to add one freshian cow.The reason being that, freshian cow produces more milk than other types of cows.
The profit will be good enough in that it will help me servicing my zidisha loan and also help me in my daily family upkeep.Thank you and welcome for the support.

Dear lenders i called Grace but she was unreachable i called the community leader and was also unreachable, i finally spoke to Vivian Chemg'ettich who said that she will get to Grace i gave her a message to pass on to grace
1] She needs to post a message to the lenders
2]She can reduce the weekly amount up to her comfortablke amount.
3]Communication with lenders is the best way to proceed forward.
Will try and again and update you.

    To the zidisha microfinance management.
I am writting to the zidisha staffs to kindly change my installents downwards for the few coming couple of weeks. The reason to this has been caused by the disease of my female cow which i had immunized it against the Bruccelosis, making all the milk i get from this cow a waste as per my veterinary doctor regulations. Now I can't sell my milk to my customers at the moment.I am looking forward to my payments normally after an average of 21 days.Sorry for the inconviniences caused.Thank you.
