My name is Sophia aguyo. I am a very narturing, hardworking and commited person person and I am honestly blessed to have recieved this chance to become a member of zidisha especially since some of the people I applied with were not able to get the same opportunity. I will try my hardest to not let my lenders down and grow with zidisha to improve my life, my business, and family as well.
My Business
My husband left me some space near my house. Since i grew up in a farm, I decided to make good use of my time and focus on it as a hobby. It eventually became a business source. i grow spinach, sukuma wiki, cabbages, tomatoes, and onions. I also grow several traditional vegetables as well as they are often in demand. I sell to most vendors at a whole sale price and often make 1200-2800 weekly depending on season, weathers and other factors considered that affect my garden
Loan Proposal
One of the main vendors near the local tuskys supermarkets recently told me that she wanted to sell her business and close down and I saw it as an opportunity to take over from her. She was requesting a figure of about 180$ . This would include the space, Goodwill and also a months rent as well. The rest of the money 70$ will be used to meet the necessary city regulations and get licensed as well.
