About Me

I am Kiplangat mutai and i reside in nakuru kabachia estate. I hail from kericho county and my early schooling was in kericho both primary and secondary.my post secondary education was in eldoret.this is where i did my accounting course so i am an accountant by profession but i have ventured into farming.
I overcome the hardship in life by staying positive and getting inspiration from motivational speakers and also take solace in the bible.i am strong believer in the christian faith and an usher in the church.
i started my business of dairy farming 2 years ago after school, as it was profitable to keep dairy animals and grow tea. the culture that is strong where i live is that people are attached to the land they live more so ancestral homes and people like milk.
i would like my children also to be farmers because it has been in the farming for long and they will get more earning from it.my hobbies are swimming and hiking.

My Business

i am a farmer and keep dairy breed of animals and will be diversifying to keeping of goats that are also selling well as they don't take time to mature. milk is in high demand and also goat meat is also much needed in the festive season like end of the year.
i chose this business because it gives me returns and as such i have a lot of customers that come for the milk and meat.my typical revenue is $180 to $200 per month and from the revenue got from the business i manage to pay my bills and also be able to add my stock of animals

Loan Proposal

thanks zidisha team for the loans that you provide and they improve lives.when i get this second loan l will be able to restock goats that l sold during the festive season.currently students are going to school and parents sell goats to pay school fees, as such i will be able to buy goats at a low price then sell them at double the price in nakuru.there are some goats i will buy and feed them well to improve their prices. i will use the money in the following way $180 i will use to buy more goats and the remaining $20 i will use to transport the goats from baringo to nakuru.

    Dear Zidisha fraternity,
I have been trying to reach Ben Kiplangat Mutai today since morning but all my calls has been going unanswered and even when I tried to reach his community leader the call was not going through but luckly I was able to reach his family member Mr. kipkurui mutai and we had a I good discussion which I explained to him how Zidisha lending community Organization works, of which he assured me that he will talk with the brother and I call him tomorrow morning for the feedback, and hopefully I will get positive feedback and later I will share it with you all again.

    regards

Hi Kiplangat Mutai. Can you check in with your friend, Anthony Osure, to see if he is having trouble with his repayments? He has made only one repayment on his loan and has not been seen or heard from in over six weeks. Thank you.

Its my humble plea that lenders compete the bids on time.l would like to restock the goats that l bought during festivities.with this loan l will be able to buy more goats hence more profits.the standing currently is 10% bids and just $ 180 remaining to complete bids

i would like to increase my installments because i made profits during the festive season and as such would like to increase the installments and also qualify for higher credit limits. i want to expand in business and the zidisha loan has really been of help.schools are opening and many parents in baringo sell animals to take kids to school.so by paying off this loan and geting a second loan will provide me with capital
