About Me

Ajua Alhassan is my name. Am from Tamale but stays at Nsapor, Berekum. After my basic education that is in completion of Junior high school I didn't further again due hardship on the part of my father.I was asked to learn car mechanics what we normally call in my locality as 'fitting' From there I become interested in driving .So I learnt how to drive taxi for some time.Having entered into driving for sometime, I realized that its not working well for me.So I decided to go back into car mechanics so I can operate well since that is my area.I am now fully working as a car mechanic.

My Business

When I was 16 years,my father sent me to car repairing shop where he handed me to the master in charge of the car mechanic shop as an apprentice.I came out successfully within five years of training.I stayed out of job for few years due to financial difficulties to purchase tools and build shop for the job.Later I hired a shop and with determination, started in a small way and now am working on my own as a car mechanic, repairing car engines. Some of these cars are Opel ,Toyota and Nissan cars. This business is very lucrative work and I prefer doing it to any other work.I wish to invest more in it because with this my future would be prosperous.

Loan Proposal

I started this work with the old tools I used during my apprenticeship and am still using some of them for the job. I would be happy if I can get financial assistance in a form of a loan from Zidisha to enable me purchase some of these important tools to speed up my work. Many faulty cars comes to my shop for repairs and maintenance but I face difficulties in repairing them.
With this,I have decided to buy the common tools that are most needed now into my tools box. These tools include, Wrenches, Sockets,Ratchets (small, medium and large),Hammer(rubber mallet),6 screwdrivers like stabbed screwdrivers, Flare spanners, 1 Jack -stand.With an amount of $ 647, I would be able to purchase these tools mentioned above.
If am able to buy these tools for the job, I believe to make about $ 120 a week.

Ajua Alhassan is a model Zidisha borrower. He knows what he wants to do, takes the steps to get there and is a responsible borrower. I recommend funding any of his future loans.
