About Me

I'm Casting Boakye a final year undergraduate student of University Of Ghana in West Africa reading combined Political Science and Information Studies. I lost both parents in an accident at the age of 12. Ever since, my elder brother who dropped out of school to work as a mechanic has been my greatest backbone in my education. I've been through severe hardships that have really strengthen me, from selling on street after school hours at junior high school and washing dishes at restaurants and food joints at night. I had to stay at home for two years to work to make a leaving to support my brother to enable him fund my high school bills. I love tress and mostly spend my leisure times in the garden

My Business

My business is called 'Greenville', this is a business that is intended to promote afforestation in our environment and also provide employment. We will nurse 1000 seedlings of trees every month for and sell to individuals and bodies involved in tree planting. I chose this business because, the rapid increase in the demand for panting of trees in our environment to curb the challenges associated with global warming. Estimated cost for the business is $ 500 for employing 10 workers for the the startup, estimated amount for logistics is $300, estimated amount for the seedings is $200, estimated cost for land space is $600, and estimated cost for irrigation is $200. The estimated revenue after selling 1000 trees is $3000. The profit of the business will be reinvested in growing the business.

Loan Proposal

I've have been able to establish a mini delivery services in my community which I intend expanding it by buying motorbikes to enhance my business to enable me further my education as well as employ more workers to better their lifes. I get my income from my delivery services, I've employed 3 workers who respond to calls by our clients who would like us to pick deliver an item or buy items for them at a minimum rate as compared to our competitors bit due to inadequate transport system we are unable to run our services to large customers and distanced customers at a conveniently.
I make an amount of about GHC 500 per a month. I pay my 3 workers 40 percent per a day.
I had my inspiration from my childhood times when I used to run errands for my neighbors to get money as well as selling on the street for retailer shops to get a percentage of the money I make.
