I am William Oduro Ghansah, a Ghanaian belonging to the Ghansah family from the Eastern Region of Ghana, Koforidua. I currently stay at Teshie first Junction. I attended Accra Polytechnic and I now have a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy. I did my National Service at PBC Limited, Tema. I was the supervisor at the take over point, that is the place where the cocoa beans are packed for export. At this session I learnt a lot about importation and exportation of cocoa beans and this got me interested in buying and selling as well as importing and exporting cocoa beans and other goods.
I am an accountant by profession. After doing my National Service at PBC Limited, Tema where I was the supervisor at the take over point, I learnt a lot about importation and exportation of cocoa beans and this got me interested in buying and selling as well as importing and exporting cocoa beans and other goods. I used to produce liquid soaps with some friends in Kumasi after Senior High School. We normally sold these soaps to homes, schools, offices, churches, and restaurants. It was a very good business and most of the people were excited about this product because aside its sweet smell and different colours, it was homemade, thick and relatively cheap as compared to the ones in the supermarkets. I paused a little with this business when I got admission at Accra polytechnic to study accountancy. I still had the passion of making this soap business big in Accra after tertiary. I started with the soap production again after I finished with my National Service at PBC Limited, Tema. Aside the soap production, I am also into the sales of some fuel savers introduced to me by my elder brother, Benjamin Ghansah. This device has also been really great when it comes to reducing fuel consumption in cars, plants, and generators. I have a passion of opening a company where we will be fully into the production of of quality liquid soap as well as exportation of cocoa beans to other countries.

My customer base keeps on increasing and demands have also become high. I need some more money to buy more chemicals for the production of the soap and I believe that when zidisha grants me this loan I will be able to meet the demands of my customers and serve them better as well as in time. I have a passion of opening a company where we will be fully into the production of quality liquid soap as well as exportation of cocoa beans to other countries. This will in turn increase job opportunities for the youth in Accra.
I will be grateful to Zidisha if I am granted this loan. Thankyou.
