About Me

my name is Caroline manzi am 34years of age and a poultry farmer I started in the year 2013 with mainly broilers which would be sold in restaurants for meat I later in 2015 started rearing layers which would bring around 10-15trays per day..As a hobby I started rearing turkeys ,geese and ducks but in small numberswhich have really grown in number.

My Business

I supply chicken meat to mainly hotels and restaurants and also individual clients whole selling at 450 shillings and retail price of 600 shillings,I also sell eggs in trays since I have layers one tray costs 280shillings..I recently started keeping turkeys ,ducks and geese which a grown turkey goes for 6,000 shillings,ducks grown one goes for 3500

buy chicken feeds I make household stuff like pillow covers,hand made carpets,curtains and generally things used in the house to beautify it I make them at home usually at night and resell to friends and also referees the business would definitely do more better if I had a shop stationed somewhere but still looking for capital to set up a good shop at a convenient location whereby you can attract walk in customers more faster.I also have a farm where i rear chicken for sale mostly broiler which are sold at 6weeks most of to the clients who are already available mainly hotels who come and pick from the farm go through the necessary health checks then stock in their hotels in a good month the business pays very well and if you have enough quantity you make
