I was born on the 26dec1980 at Kericho district hospital then joined salvation army nursery in 1985 before proceeding to Highland primary where took my primary education before joining Kericho day secondary for O LEVEL then proceeded to Darul Irshad for college education I started my poultry project which was doing well until Newcastle disease attacked my brood killing it but I did not loss hope I brought in two hen and a cock and eventually got 70 chicken which I sold to pay my daughters school fees currently i have 16 in my brood which I hope to supplement with improved kienyeji if i qualify for a loan since at moment the kienyeji chicken market is not well supplied hope to take advantage of the market hence grow my business
my chicken farm is doing well even though i need to improve my chicken house and replish my kienyieji kuku with improved variety which lay more eggs and mature faster hence I would maximize on the chicken market which is still not full tapped I make roughly KESH.300 from eggs alone dailyn hope to increase it to 1000 after buying the improved kienyeji currently most of the profit goes back to buying chicken feed and medicine and my future plan is for it to support my three daughtres education and most importantly for business to be recognized nationally in next five years has the best eggs and kienyeji chicken supplier in country
I hope to improve my chicken house and add about twenty improved kienyeji chicken
