About Me

I am James Omondi aged 39yrs old. Am a married Man of two sons and a daughter 7yrs,6yrs and 1yr 5months respectively. I am a christian working in a rural settlement as an assistant chief of Olasi Sublocation in North Kanyikela in Homabay County and also running a Chicken project in my home area in Olasi Sublocation.I am having quite a number of chicken that i would like to erect for them hatchery and also to buy a motorbike which will help me maneuver through my daily duties as an assistant chief. As a child i grow up in a town called Lwanda Maseno which is in Western Province. I attended my primary educational at Lwanda Primary school until class eight even though my family was in Olasi. This was because of my fathers addictive of Alcohol which could not enable us to stay back home.Life then wasn't that easy since a times we would miss school due to arrears in school. My father was P1 Teacher but her salary was all going to the alcohol hence we were left with nothing even to feed on. We were very unstable since my mum meager salary as a p1 teacher could not take care of 8 Children hence some would remain home digging peoples shambas as others go to school and this we could do in turns.Due to all this and many others i manage to score good marks at class eight level and i was called to join Migori High School in Homabay County. In high school,i could missed school several times due to lack of school fees and because of that, i only manage to score
C Plain and landed in a Technical collage where i did my Electrical Engineering which i never finish and ended up in an IT sector as Audio Technician which i did until this year March 2015 when i got the post as an assistant chief . This Post interest me because i wanted to curb the issue of alcohol in my area since my father and other brothers of my died in a den of alcohol.
My children ambition more so of 7yrs is to become a Doctor in future and that's why wish to place him in a better school which can help him achieve his goals.

My hobbies are reading, listening to music more so gospel, traveling and mentoring socializing.

My Business

I have about 57 local chickens (kienyeji kukus)and other young ones 3 months old around 27chicks. I would wish to start this business of local kukus and expand my project by building them a house since now am still harboring them in my main house. My typical cost and revenue now is around Ksh. 15,000. This why i need a loan to upgrade there status to enable me get good result. Apart from that, i also need a motorbike to help me maneuver around as i do my daily duties as an assistant chief. It is very hectic to go around with the bicycles and am not able to attend to my people on time and when an agent need arise. For the profit i will get from the kukus i will use it to pay for my two sons school fees.

Loan Proposal

When i get the loan i would wish to buy 20 local chicken -$19.52, feeder -$19.5, chicken Mash to supplement- $24.400, and also school fees - $14.75. When this happen i will be able to keep my community with sufficient and nutritious eggs at a cheaper price and at the convenient time. It will also help me pay school fees for my son who is in class two in a boarding school. Thanks so much and i hope zidisha will fund me once more. May God Bless all my lenders.
