About Me

Am Daniel mjee,finished high school on 2003,due to luck of money I was not able to go to college,so I started doing manual work and saving to start a business which I started in the year 2010,the business has been growing slowly coz of luck of funds and also NY family of 2 children and a wife depend on the business,I have a wife and two children am the sole bread winner of the family,this being my only job that am doing to support my family,some of the things I do is a pay school fees for the children.

My Business

My business is rearing of chicks and selling them after 6 weeks,I buy one old chicks and rear them for 6 weeks,a chick cost at a price of 100 shillings and sell them at a price of 500ks when fully grown,but due to the drought the chicken feeds prices have gone up,so the profit that we are making is minimal,because the chicken are not giving the weight needed thus making it hard for us to sell the price needed,by getting some more funds to buy the feeds will help in the productivity of the chickens and also the egg,the eggs chicken goes for six months then after that u sell the eggs for one and half year ,for the layers to lay the eggs you need to give them proper food,I have 200 hundred layers chicks, so in a day I get 200 eggs which makes a profit of egss to sell to the shopkeepers and manage to buy the feeds but a lot is needed at the moment to be able to satisfy the demand.

am going to buy some more chicks to increase the stock of my business and also buy animal feeds,for the chicks the feed will go for a month and it will be ready for the chicks to sell within that period ,because the chicks takes a 6 weeks to fully grow
