About Me

My name is Fredrick Shisanya 26 years old from Kenya, resident of Road block Estate ,Eldoret town Uasin Gishu County in Kenya I am married with two children. Last born in class one.Igot my primary education in Lugari County and later joined high school. After completing high school, I never proceed to university due to lack of school fees, I depended on my parents who were doing casual work in the village. Because of the poor background I was brought up in in, I have worked diligently and remained focused in my business to raise capital to start my business. I was forced to look after cows for neighbors and tilling lands .I started by hawking eggs at whole sale and retail prices. I used part of my profit to educate my firstborn, who want to become a nurse, when she grows up, I like worshiping in church.

My Business

My business involves selling of all types of chickens, like broilers for meat and layers for eggs I also deal with chicks for growers I choose this because of Kenyan people they like (chicken and ugali) I buy my stock from farmers and suppliers who give me at a very minimal cost because of purchasing in bulk. This has enabled me sell to my customers at profit hence having an edge over my competitors who sell very expensive. The quality of my products are also very high in addition to high customer care .This had resulted to customers flocking in demanding for me. Part of the profit I reinvest into the business and use some to pay for the school fees, taking my family household needs, while saving 40% of my earnings for future projects.

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders I want to thank you for this accepting me as Zidisha borrower and creating this wonderful opportunity for borrowing, I have secured some contract to be supplying mature chicken to a neighboring hotel. Worth $200.This loan will help to boost my capital. Already I have savings of $100, in my daily business activity. The additional loan will help me top up the capital of $200 which I need to weekly supply the hotel stock. In my weekly sales am making profit of $12, and average of expenses is about $85, now operating with capital base of $192.With this capital increment from the loan I will be able to increase my sales volume. Profit margin .iwill be able to repay the loan from profits realized from the business on weekly basis.
