About Me

I am Richard Kumwenda and I am based kitwe
in Zambia. I was born in 1998 in a family of 10. I went to primary school and
then finished my secondary school. I always wanted to study Agriculture science
but when I finished in college they were no jobs. So I established my own
business. I am married with 1 child and she wants to become a Farmer when she
grows up. My hobbies are reading motivational books.

My Business

From childhood I always had a dream of owning my own farm when I was growing
up so after I finished to senior secondary school,I did agriculture studies to
learn more about farming. With some money from my parents I bought a small
piece of land and started farming then later I reaslised that most farmers had
a challenge of getting inputs then I opened a small agro shop where I sell
variety of farming inputs from feed, seeds, insecticides and many more. With
the profits from the agro-shop I also managed to acquire bigger land where I even have 2 workers now. The profit I make from the agro-shop is sustaining my family and my business is increasing. The expense I encounter is transport I don’t have a vehicle so to order things and
bring them to the shop I have to hire transport.

Loan Proposal

Firstly i thank all my lenders for lending me last loan. I apply for another loan to buy vaccines for chickens which i will sell in my Agro shop. I have seen a lot of customers asking for vaccines especially during this rain season chickens have diseases. Also as we approach the festive season in my country the demand for chicken by customers will be so high . so I will buy vaccines for chickens so that I can fill my shop and be ready for my customers. My profit will increase and I will use it to reinvest in my business. God bless you

Income Source

when there is economic challenges I can still sell my farming inputs In my shop.In my country Zambia, the demand for farming inputs is very high throughout the year so am able to sell almost everyday even in times of economic hardships. Besides am a farmer so I also produce for the market and demand is very high and because of the high demand I make high incomes every week even so I still have enough income to help me repay my loan in good time.
