About Me

I am an entrepreneur in the food industry and I produce vanilla and chilli value added products for local consumption. I am a single mum and love being a parent. My goal has been to take excess products and turn them into something that can be stored for a long time in case of drought or other agricultural factors.

My Business

I make vanilla extract and paste as well as sell the beans. I also make chilli blends. The products are sourced within East Africa and are also sold locally. I hope to give farmers a consistent market so that they can support their families and grow their businesses as well. I want to scale up to reach the supermarkets volumes in the next one year.

Loan Proposal

I will buy more chillies from farmers to increase my volumes due to demand for my red chilli blend range. I have a new variety ready for production. With the funds I will buy the chillies and the other ingredients. I also hope to join a few new markets to sell the chilli blends. My profit should steadily increase by 15% as the costs of production are low.
