About Me

My name is Cyndia Destin. I'm married and have a daughter of 6. I've been busy with accounting for two years but was laid off about three years ago. Ever since my husband and i are engaged in clothes selling in other to provide for the family. I'm very passionate about music, theater and dancing. And my goal is to become a great business woman in my country. I aim to be the owner of a great facility introducing brand new names in the clothing industry in Haiti. I have great dreams for my daughter to be a renowned designer but i know i have to be involve in this field in order to lay the path before her. My family and hi wish dearly that our demand will be granted with Zidicha’s administration so that we can start as soon as possible. With school fees and all important obligations for my family, having this business is very helpful since finding a job in Haiti is very difficult. Even if my husband is working and is doing his best to provide for the family we know that business is the key to not only independence but also better revenue. I’m working very hard towards my dreams and having this loan is a huge step in this process. I want more than just a shop selling clothes, I want a whole facility buying, sewing and selling clothes. Actually I’m a sewer myself and have been sewing just for fun but I’m sure this assets will be helpful when I will be the owner of a great company working in the clothing industry in Haiti. Although Haiti is a great consumer of foreign clothes we don’t have yet a worldwide renowned clothing company. I wish I will be the one introducing this company in Haiti.

My Business

Three years ago i started a business of clothes selling in my community. The reception was very positive and ever since it has been my main activity generating revenue for my family and myself. I come to a point where i want to enlarge the business in other to serve a wider range of customers. For now my targeted customers are mainly young adults, but there is also a demand for kids that I’m unable to meet because of financial limitations. I've heard of Zidicha from a friend, of all the opportunity it offers and now i turn to that possibility to increase my Business. Finding loans in Haiti can be very demanding with huge rates and short time of repayment. The processes are generally very long and time consuming. I’ve already tried some but my husband realized if we continue with their services we will not make any progress and our dream might end. It is very clear that Zidicha is much more about helping than about making money. I really want to be part of that fantastic microfinance institution trying to help millions over the world. I know for certain that I will be able to attract those new customers who often are asking clothes for their kids. I might also include kid’s sneakers, sandals and shoes to the menu so that I can meet their very needs. In the long run I will be buying only brand new clothes for young adults such as Calvin Klein, Versace and Ralph Laurent. Those are very attractive brands but for now my merchandises cannot be all brand new because of money. But with good relationship with Zidicha i know I’ll achieve that goal. For all those reasons wholeheartedly that my request will be granted and I’ll be able to take my clothes selling business to the next level.

Loan Proposal

A hundred dollar can be very helpful in my business. As a matter fact, I’ll be buying kids clothes and maybe some shoes. Since I have been involved in this sector for a while now I know exactly where to buy, when to buy. I’ll also be using my actual clients which are young adults to gain more clients, from their little brothers, sisters or friends they will represent a great potential for enlarging my customers. I have a plan to sell my new clothes in two weeks maximum so that I can see how it is going in a short period of time. I’m used to that kind of selling since I have gained many experiences with my previous merchandises. The goal is to use the money exactly the way I intended to be used which is enlarging my business. And by including clothes for kids I know that I’m making a huge step toward increasing the business. I have already talk to people selling kids clothing so that I can have a better understanding of that market for the benefits of my business. Injecting one hundred dollar in my business will be a very helpful opportunity to offer brand new products to my customers.
