I was born and brought up in Kawangware in my uncle's house because my parents were unable to take care of us, being five of us it was a great challenge not only to feed us but also to school us. I am now married with five children, I run a clothing business which helps to meet part of the bills at home. My dream is to grow my business to even be a supplier. Being an employee was very frustrating especially at the end of month. We could go months without being paid. Being self employed I have peace and am self reliant. I want to see my children go through college.
Selling clothes. The business is now six months old. I started the business because of frustration from work and I did not want to stay idle. And I want to be able to take care of my children. My biggest challenge is harsh economic times, and low purchasing power of clients. My customers are ladies. I want to grow my business by providing to a variety of new clients.
Buy stock of quality and variety so as to meet the varied needs and tastes of the customers. I will be able to provide for my family sufficiently due to the increase in returns. My family will lead a comfortable life.
