My name is Mary Banda. I was born in Eastern Province of Zambia where my parents used to grow vegetables at our farm.
My parents also used to keep goats and cows.
I left the Eastern Province and settled on the Copperbelt with my husband who is a miner. We have two children, a boy and a girl.
I own a salon and a grocery store where I sell various products, such as hair products, perfumes and clothes.
The store is located close to my house. This works well for me, as I am able to look after my family and also focus on my business.
My business is doing well and I would like to continue growing in my business by introducing new products.
I plan to use the loan to order new clothes for my boutique store.
My supplier has received a large consignment of latest clothes which I plan to buy and stock in my store.
My business is doing well and i am making lots of money selling goods from store.
I plan to repay my loan on time so that I can progress and receive bigger loans to use on my business expansion.
