About Me
I am Philomena Turkson, a 24-year-old lady who loves entrepreneurship and believes in self-employment. After completion senior high school, I moved in a little business of buying and selling cosmetics, which aided me in the payment of my school fees at the Ankaful nurses training College, where I offered for a diploma in psychiatric nursing. At school, I moved into buying and selling clothes and materials to students and lecturers on campus. Through this, I was able to support myself by paying for my academic utilities.
My clothes are very affordable and are produced with high-quality materials, and I have a long time ambition of getting enough capital to expand my business. My dream is to see poverty being reduced in the area, so that the young children who want to be doctors and lectures would achieve their aims.
My Business
I am in the business of buying and selling clothing in my locality and towns around the area. Initially, when I started the business, I used to buy from local wholesales and sell around. The clothes would sometimes cost around GHS 2,000. My clothes are being demanded because they come with quality materials and affordable prices.
As the business grew, I started importing my clothes from Togo and would sometimes give them to customers on credit. Currently, I have stayed a little idle in the business, which I wish to rekindle in no time. I would be glad to get this loan in order to help rekindle and grow this business which would be able to help me raise
enough profit in order to take care of the family.
Loan Proposal
I will invest the loan into my clothing business and also use some to purchase makeup kits, I ll invest about $250 into the clothing and $144 into the makeup business, I expect to make about $100 a month from both sides, I will also pay my junior brothers school fees as well as buy provisions for him,i will be able to
start my business in sunyani since am doing my service here, it will help me pay for my rent, utility bills as well as my upkeep.i also intend to use the profit from this loan to purchase sowing machine for my cousin who wants to go into fashion designing, and with this loan I ll be able to double my purchase as well as my sales, I ll work hard in other to pay back on time, thank you.
