About Me

I was born and raised in Sunyani , brong ahafo region of Ghana, West African. After my senior high school at Sunyani High School, I proceed to university for development studies. I started my two hectares cocoa farm after Senior High School although my parent have their own. with determination and hard working i have now expanded my cocoa farm size from two hectares to ten hectares. During school holidays I used to visit my farm.
During my school days I paid most my tuition fee with the income from my cocoa farm. natural the land is good for cocoa farming. we share boundary with the world largest cocoa producing region ivory coast. 80% of the populate the area are into the cocoa farming. I think if some of us able to operate very well in the farming business it will serve as motivational tool for most of the youth to engage in the cocoa farming business.

My Business

I started my cocoa farming business after Senior high school. I started with two hectares cocoa farm .cocoa product are the most buying commodity in the food market. example milo, chocolate etc. I decided to go into cocoa farming because I get some inner satisfaction if I see people enjoying cocoa products especially chocolate. I also make good income from it.
Most of the time I find it difficult to raised money to buy fertilizers, pesticides, insecticides to apply on the farm to get good harvest and money to pay labors. I use the earning from the farm to assist my parent to educate my junior siblings and reinvest the rest on farming business. I am trying to build another business with the same income.
