About Me

My name is Jimoh Agoro, I was born on February 22, 1975 in Nigeria. I am married and the father of three children, two boys and a girl. I am in the barbershop business. Until 1993 I lived in Nigeria, and when I came to Burkina Faso I decided to become a barber. This business is going very well for me, especially right before the holidays when everyone wants to look good, when I make great profits. I would like to benefit from a Zidisha loan with the objective of strengthening my business, growing my shop and managing it better.

My Business

My principal business is a barber shop, a skill I learned with my brother after having to stop my studies. I have five years of experience in my own salon. In a month I can earn US $200 in revenues. The rent costs costs me $60, and in addition I have some small expenses like buying alcohol and hair coloring. I also pay taxes of $40 FCFA per month. Two of us work in the barbershop, and the price is $0.60 - $0.80 per customer. There are times when my clients give me more than than (i.e., leave me a gratuity) because of the service I have provided to them. I also will do haircuts in clients' homes.

Je me nomme Mr AGORO, je suis né le 22 février 1975 au Nigeria et en ce moment je suis marié et père de 3 enfants dont deux garçons et une fille.je suis dans le domaine de la coiffure masculine, j’ai fréquenté jusqu’en 1993 au NIGERIA et je suis revenu au BURKINA ou j’ai opté de faire la coiffure masculine. Mon activité principale est la Coiffure que j’ai appris avec mon frère après avoir arrête les cours. J’ai acquis 5 années d’expériences dans mon propre salon. Dans le mois je peux avoir 100000 f de bénéfice, le loyer me coute 30000 .en plus de ca je fais quelques petites dépenses telle que l’achat de l’alcool et du noircissant.je paye également l’impôt qui est de 20000 f par mois. Nous sommes deux à travailler au salon et le prix unitaire est de 400 ou 300f Cfa.il arrive aussi des moments ou les clients me donne plus que ca en raison du traitement de ce dernier.je peux me rendre aussi chez d’autres clients pour les coiffer.
