About Me
My name is Dao Gervain and I was born on June 19th 1968 in Bobo Dioulasso. As a native Burkinabé I live in Bobo Dioulasso where I grew up and went to school. After successfully completing elementary school, I enrolled at the Sya school where I got a middle school studies certificate. Because my parents did not have the means to further my education, I had to support them by finding an activity that would generate some income. This is the reason why I started selling rice imported from the Ivory Coast (a neighboring country of mine).
My Business
Rice is a basic staple of the diet in Burkina Fasso and is a strategic item in the shopping basket of the Burkinabé housewife. But the production of our country can only fill 30% of the needs of the population and the rest has to be imported. Considering the immense need for this commodity I could not say no to this profitable activity. Because of my small working capital I cannot transport big quantities. I manage to do fairly well nevertheless. I would like to initially get a loan of 58,400 West African CFA Francs to increase my working capital.

Mon nom est Dao Gervain et je suis née le19 juin 1968 a Bobo Dioulasso. Burkinabé de naissance, je réside a Bobo Dioulasso ville dans laquelle j'ai été a l’école. Après l’école primaire sans faille, j'ai été inscrit au cours moderne Sya ou j'ai pu obtenir un brevet d’étude. Vue que mes parents n'avait pas assez de moyen, j’étais dans l'obligation de les soutenir a travers une activité rémunératrice de revenue et c'est pour cela que j'ai entame la commercialisation du riz importe a partir de la cote d'Ivoire (pays frontaliers avec le mien).

Vue le besoin grandiose, je ne me suis donc pas faire prier d'embrasser cette activité qui me procure des bénéfices. Cependant mon faible capitale me permet de subsister car je transporte en très petite quantité. Tout compte fait avec je tire mon épingle du jeu.
