About Me

I am an accountant by profession, married with a small daughter. I am undertaking my Bachelors in Commerce at Catholic University; I am also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), with a diploma in Business Management. I want to start a new business of selling fresh juice and smoothies to since I have done my research and found that many Kenyans now are becoming health-conscious people who are seeking alternatives to the high-sugar, high-fat beverages offered by companies. I have already establish a market near, since this is a new business, I want to start small scale to see the demand of my new juice and smoothie menu that I have been developing for some time now.

My Business

As I have already mentioned, I would like to venture into a new business of fresh juice and smoothies, many Kenyans now are becoming health-conscious people who are seeking alternatives to the high-sugar, high-fat beverages offered by companies. I have already establish a market near, since this is a new business, I want to start small scale to see the demand of my new juice and smoothie menu that I have been developing for some time now. The loan will be used to purchase a small commercial blender @ USD. 140. Currently there is no such business within my estate which has a very high population of middle class. From my research, there is a good market that has not been explored.

I have developed 5 flavors of smoothies that will retail at USD 1.8 for a glass of 500ML and USD 1.2 for a glass of 300ML, I estimate monthly sales to be USD 585. The total monthly estimated cost will be USD 385.

Loan Proposal

The loan will be used to purchase a small commercial blender @ USD. 140. This will make it easier to make juice/smoothies in large quantities to meet the expected daily demand as per the market research. Many Kenyans now are becoming health-conscious people who are seeking alternatives to the high-sugar, high-fat beverages offered by companies. I have already establish a market near, since this is a new business, I want to start small scale to see the demand of my new juice and smoothie menu that I have been developing for some time now. Currently there is no such business within my estate which has a very high population of middle class. From my research, there is a good market that has not been explored.

I thought I might pay the installments much faster, but the source of funding I was expecting did not materialize as I expected, therefore I would like to reschedule the payments to lower amounts so I can be able to honor the deadlines. Please accept my sincere apologies. Thanks for understanding.

I would like to reschedule my loan since my business totally failed due to some personal issues I had back home that resulted in me not giving the business full attention it deserved. After this I tried another business which is yet to pick up, I am currently financing it with the little cash I had which as resulted in my cashflow drain for quite sometime. Hopefully when it picks up as I expect it to in the coming months, I will increase my repayment but until then, please bear with me for now. Thanks for understanding.

Dear lenders, I wish to reschedule my loan from 500/= to 200/= per week, since things Have not been going on well for me this year. I was attacked and robbed in February, was conned money by fraudsters, lost my father in law, I made a costly mistake in the office that costed the org money so had to repay back in June and lastly I incurred heavy losses for an event I organised after the main sponsor withdrew the last minute when it was too late to cancel the booking. Has a result I have been broke all through. Please bear with with for default on the last payments but moving forward, I know 200/= per week will be manageable without getting myself in more financial burden. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

I wish to reschedule my loan to a weekly payment of Kshs 500. The reason for the delayed payment is that I was sent to a field project my by employer for a month, I did not run my businesses as usual, then our salaries delayed due to delay in funds from our donors. Since I stopped for a month, I lost some customers, I am now trying to get them back. I also talked to my mentor Bonface and explained to him the reason for delayed repayment. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for understanding. Thank you.

    Dear Lenders

I am sorry I have been away from Nairobi on field work in a remote area for the past one month with limited access to internet and mpesa services, I have just resumed this morning. I will be depositing Kshs. 5,000 on Friday this week to cater for the past arrears for 9th, 16th and 23rd. The balance will be spread for future. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience.

As far as I'm concerned, it's not a big deal. Maybe you should use the rescheduling option (I'm pretty much sure it's available) if you do not want to hurt your rating. Good luck!!!
