About Me

My Name is Mabera Nyaboke Druscillah. I am 23 years old. I was born in irondi Village, Kiamokama Divison in Kisii County. I attended ibacho Primary School and then went to shieywe secondary School from 2007 to 2011. I joined Nairobi University where am pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Education.I currently live in keroka town. I am currently running a cyber and offering computer packages classes. This service is in great demand here at the grassroot especially because it is aligned with our country’s development blueprint(vision 2030) which aims at increasing the number of people who are computer literate.am happy am contributing to this noble goal.

My Business

The business is a cyber café that also as started doubling as a computer training centre. For the cyber café, we offer services for example typesetting, photocoping, printing, scanning, graphic design and of course internet services. We are the only cyber in the whole market centre of Irondi and this means that we have our work cut out for us. Because we are in this village, we started getting enquiries on why we should not offer computer training. After thinking about it, I talked with my husband who supported the idea. Together we added one more room to our business and starting training computer packages to the people here in the village. Students are liking this training which we are offering very much and this has endeared us to them.
The whole business is showing a potential to grow. You see, we currently have 9 students and roughly 10 people come to the cyber in a day and this is expected to increase in the near future.
If I got more money, I will add more rooms, furniture and add computers and printers and to cater for the growing number of students and other clients. This is will see us becoming a centre of excellence in this market centre. We are in a rural setting but the prospects are good.

Loan Proposal

My loan proposal
One of the services we are currently offering and attracting great demand is computer training to the people in this market centre and centre. Before we started teaching computer training at our business, people used to travel all the way to the nearest town which is Keroka. But now they do not need to do this and they love it.

We are currently in need of more computers so that we can have more of our students not to crowd on the few computers in the their computer room. I am planning to buy computers one at a time and by the end of it all, have a computer college.

I have put a loan request of $155 with which I can buy two desktops at second hand offer from some seller in Keroka town. I assure you this will add a lot of value to our computer training course. I look forward to your support to take computer training to the grassroots. Thank you very much. I will pay back with gladness until I clear and request for more support.
