About Me

My name is brigid, i was born in kericho county and im married blessed with one child. After finishing high school i did not manage to go to college because of lack of fees, through the support of my aunt who gave me capital i started selling tomatoes at a wholesale price and this has made me to be self employed and be my own boss.

My Business

my business deals with supplies of tomatoes and vegetables to retailers and wholesellers. i wake up before dawn so that i can pick the vegetables from the farms and supply the retail traders on time. my main challenge is a storage facility as the current open area exposes the tomatoes to harsh weather conditions resulting in losses.
In a month i make profits of $50 which i use to support my family needs

Loan Proposal

Given the loan with my savings i will use it to build a semi permanent storage facility that will keep my vegetables dry and safe from the weather changes. My business provides job opportunity for other people, who buy to sell retail, and also provides employment to the people in the community who assist in picking and transporting the vegetables.
